On November 15, the first China Nuclear Energy High-quality Development Conference and Shenzhen International Nuclear Energy Industry Innovation Expo, co-sponsored by the China Energy Research Association, China General Nuclear Power Group and Shenzhen Development and Reform Commission, officially opened at the Shenzhen International Convention and Exhibition Center.

◼︎ Break through bottlenecks and break barriers

In nuclear power construction, Sany is the earliest independent development brand.

In the early 70s of the 20th century, China began to develop nuclear power. Subsequently, China's nuclear power technology gradually transitioned from the second generation to the third generation, which is safer and more advanced. Among them, the application of large-tonnage crawler cranes is inseparable.

However, for a long time in the past, large-tonnage crawler cranes that can lift key components of nuclear power have almost relied on imports, and foreign companies have built solid intellectual property barriers in this field. In order to get rid of the status quo of being controlled by others, Sany has deeply cultivated the field of nuclear power hoisting and strengthened innovation.

Until 2009, SCC9000 broke through the technological blockade and completed the hoisting of the nuclear island dome of Unit 1 of Fujian Ningde Nuclear Power Plant, which was also the first time in the world to use crawler cranes produced in China to lift heavy components of nuclear power construction.

Over the past ten years, Sany crawler crane has successfully undertaken more than 20 dome lifting operations of famous domestic nuclear power plants such as Fuqing Nuclear Power Plant, Yangjiang Nuclear Power Station, Qinshan Nuclear Power Station, Guangdong Taishan Nuclear Power Station, etc., and wrote a brilliant performance of domestic crawler cranes in hoisting nuclear island domes.

In September this year, SCC52000TM made new achievements and successfully completed the dome hoisting operation in the containment vessel of the "Hualong No. 1" unit of CGN's Taipingling nuclear power project.

After more than 40 years of hard work, China's nuclear power has made great achievements in design, manufacturing, construction, installation, commissioning, operation and other links, and has gradually moved from the edge of the world nuclear power stage to the center.
