Building a green Belt and Road Initiative | The first batch of units of Sany Renewable Energy Santang Lake Wind Farm was successfully hoisted

2023 is the tenth year of General Secretary Xi Jinping's official proposal to build the "New Silk Road Economic Belt" and the "21st Century Maritime Silk Road". At present, the global energy transition and the response to climate change are becoming topics of common concern around the world. How to make use of the advantages of China's clean energy industry, lead the countries along the "Belt and Road", jointly build more renewable energy projects, and ensure energy demand has become the common goal of the clean energy industry.

Sany Renewable Energy has been actively responding to the national "Belt and Road" initiative, fulfilling its corporate responsibilities, and participating in many key projects along the "Belt and Road". Recently, one of the largest single wind power projects under construction in Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, China Resources Santang Lake 1 million kilowatt wind power generation project, the first batch of units has been successfully hoisted, and all the 6.5MW units of Sany Renewable Energy are used in the project.

Located in the northeast of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region and Hami region, China Resources Santang Lake 1 million kilowatt wind power generation project adopts a total of 154 Sany Renewable Energy 6.5MW units, which are designed with the design concept of "high, large, long, light and intelligent", combined with the development criteria of "high reliability, high power generation, low LCOE and smart wind farm", and adopts platform design to achieve smaller vibration, good economy, safety and intelligence. In view of the special environment such as Shagehuang landform, high temperature and low temperature at the location of the project, Sany Renewable Energy has carried out targeted design and tests from the aspects of unit research and development, material selection, wind farm design, transportation and hoisting, and later operation and maintenance, so as to improve the sand and dust prevention ability, heat dissipation performance and low temperature resistance of the unit, and provide all-round guarantee for the wind turbines.

All units use Sany Renewable Energy smart fans, which have super perception capabilities, built-in mechanism models, external big data training models, and can be controlled by the wind turbine PLC for adaptive adjustment. Relying on the smart wind farm system, through resource sharing and centralized management, the efficiency of wind farm operation and maintenance is improved, and the realization of "unattended" is promoted.

The project is also equipped with energy storage of 250MW/1000MWh, and it is reported that after the project is completed and connected to the grid, it can provide 3104,388,700 kW·h of clean energy for the power grid every year, which will be fed into the power grid through the "power highway", lighting up thousands of lights, and promoting the high-quality development of the regional economy. Over the past ten years since the construction of the "Belt and Road", China has established intergovernmental energy cooperation mechanisms with more than 90 countries and regions, established cooperative relations with more than 30 international energy organizations and multilateral mechanisms, participated in nearly 100 bilateral and multilateral energy cooperation mechanisms, signed more than 100 energy cooperation documents, and carried out bilateral energy cooperation plans with 10 countries and regions. As one of the top five wind turbine manufacturers in China, Sany Renewable Energy actively responds to the call of the country to develop wind power projects in Xinjiang, Gansu, Qinghai, Inner Mongolia, Ningxia and other regions along the "Belt and Road", and has successively built wind power industrial parks in Bayannur, Hami, Tacheng and other places to help the energy construction of the "Belt and Road", maintain global energy security, and contribute to the construction of an energy community with a shared future.
