Recently, the 2023 Supplier Conference of Sany Heavy Equipment was held in Xi'an Industrial Park and Star River Hotel. Mr. Qi Jian, Senior Vice President of Sany Group and Chairman of the Heavy Equipment Division, Ms. Yuan Chunyan, Vice President and Director of the Business Headquarters of Sany Group, Mr. Xu Pengfei, Executive Deputy General Manager of the Heavy Equipment Division, and other key leaders attended the event, and senior leaders of 130 core suppliers around the world were invited to participate in the event.

On the morning of the event, 130 core supplier partners from all over the world visited Sany Intelligent Equipment Xi'an Industrial Park, and Mr. Chen Zhichao, General Manager of Sany Heavy Equipment Manufacturing Company, led the core supplier partners to introduce the key development process of Sany Group and Sany Heavy Equipment in detail, and explained in detail the key technologies, management models and production processes of intelligent manufacturing plants, so that supplier partners can experience the results of Sany Digital Intelligence Development up close.

At 3 o'clock in the afternoon, the 2023 Sany Heavy Equipment Supplier Conference kicked off at the Star River Hotel in Xianyang City. At the beginning of the event, Mr. Xu Pengfei, Executive Deputy General Manager of Sany Heavy Equipment Division, made a business report, reviewed the operation of Sany Group and Heavy Equipment Division in 2023, and shared Sany Heavy Equipment's ten-year vision and three-year plan with core supplier partners. At the same time, on behalf of the business department, he thanked the global partners for their outstanding contributions to the development of Sany Heavy Equipment.

       Subsequently, Mr. Lu Shiwei, Commercial Director of the Heavy Equipment Division, reported to the conference on the business work and future planning in 2023. "In 2023, with the support of the majority of supplier partners around the world, the indicators of the heavy supply chain will continue to improve." At the same time, he made a detailed report on the procurement strategy, business objectives and key tasks in 2024, shared the plan for the next three years of business work, and hoped to adhere to the mission of "core competitiveness of customer procurement" with all supplier partners and continue to struggle.

Mr. Jia Zhaodong, Deputy Director of Quality Assurance of the Heavy Equipment Division, reviewed the quality achievements of supply chain construction in 2023 - fixed-point assistance to 95 suppliers, performance optimization and integration of 12 suppliers, and demonstrated the market performance: the overall in-warranty failure rate of suppliers throughout the year decreased by 50% year-on-year, of which wide-body vehicles and scrapers decreased by more than 50%. At the same time, 10 suppliers with excellent quality performance and excellent quality progress were commended. "In 2024, the Heavy Equipment Division will continue to carry out quality upgrading campaigns, including heavy products, A+ plan, paint revolution, cab revolution, product refinement improvement, and key supplier control, so as to surpass dreams and lead the future." 

At the meeting, the Heavy Equipment Division presented awards to 11 best suppliers of guaranteed supply, 10 best collaborative suppliers, 10 excellent suppliers, 4 annual quality suppliers, and 3 strategic cooperation suppliers in 2023, thanking them for their wholehearted support, and sincerely hoped that in the coming days, we will be in the same boat through thick and thin and achieve better results. Representatives of Shandong Powertrain, CATL, Zhuzhou Converter and other enterprises made speeches as excellent partners.
