Recently, Windpower Monthly, an international authoritative media, announced the list of "Best Wind Turbines of 2023", and Sany Renewable Energy's SI-230100 wind turbine won the gold award in the category of "World's Best Onshore Wind Turbine (5.6MW+)". This award represents that Sany Renewable Energy's large megawatt wind turbines have been widely recognized around the world.

The SI-230100 wind turbine has made breakthroughs in power generation performance and reliability. With a wind turbine diameter of 230 meters and a sweeping area equivalent to six standard football fields, the unit has better wind catching capacity and power generation capacity. The double-box transformer top-up technology is adopted to effectively optimize the load control.

In terms of design technology, the wind turbine adopts a lightweight design, and uses the advantages of split transportation to ensure that the height and width meet the requirements of professional transportation, effectively reduce transportation costs, and greatly improve delivery efficiency. In November 2023, the unit successfully won the bid for the Heilongjiang Huadian Ning'an Fengshuishan Wind Power Project by virtue of its comprehensive advantages, which is the first onshore wind power project in China to use a single unit capacity of 10MW in batches.
