On May 31, the commissioning ceremony of Sany Renewable Energy's Zunyi Wind Power Equipment Intelligent Manufacturing Base was successfully completed in Meitan County, Zunyi. Since then, Sany Renewable Energy has added another significant touch to the grand blueprint of laying out the construction of the new energy industry across the country and promoting green transformation according to local conditions.

The event was presided over by You Haiyan, deputy secretary of the Meitan County Party Committee and county magistrate.

Shen Jiantong, Secretary of the Meitan County Party Committee, said that the Sany Renewable Energy Zunyi Intelligent Manufacturing Industrial Park project is the first wind turbine manufacturing project in Guizhou, and it is an important measure to conscientiously implement the decision-making and deployment of the central, provincial and municipal governments on promoting new industrialization, and will surely inject new momentum into the high-quality economic development of Meitan County and Zunyi City. It is expected that relying on the Sany Renewable Energy Industrial Park project, it will attract upstream and downstream enterprises in the industrial chain to gather, give full play to the industrial cluster effect, and provide effective support for local economic and social development.

Yu Liangwei, deputy general manager of Sany Renewable Energy, said that Sany Renewable Energy Zunyi Wind Power Equipment Intelligent Manufacturing Industrial Park has filled the gap in Sany Renewable Energy's wind turbine manufacturing capacity in southwest China, and as one of Sany Renewable Energy's core production bases, it has introduced advanced concepts such as artificial intelligence, Internet of Things, big data, and cloud computing, comprehensively applied a new generation of intelligent manufacturing technology, and strived to build a high-end wind power equipment manufacturing benchmark integrating digitalization, automation, integration, leanness, and visualization in southwest China.

Zunyi is a famous historical city in the country, and the convening of the Zunyi Conference of the Communist Party of China in the last century saved the Chinese revolution at the most critical juncture. Today, standing at a new historical starting point, Zunyi keeps up with the pace of national construction, seizes the opportunity of Guizhou Province to create a national new comprehensive energy strategic base, accelerates the construction of a modern energy system, and promotes the large-scale development of new energy as a whole, represented by wind power.
