In 1994, Sany officially entered the field of construction machinery with the trailer pump as a stepping stone.

In the past 30 years, concrete machinery as Sany's trump card products, has set a number of Sany first, China's most, the world's crown, in the following, catching up, beyond the change to leading, condensing most of the development history of China's concrete machinery industry.

Break the barrier and be born in breaking through the "stuck neck".

In December 1994, Sanyi's first construction machinery product and the first open concrete trailer pump in China - HBT60A gate valve trailer pump rolled off the assembly line in Changsha.

However, due to the instability of the collector valve, the trailer pump suffered from frequent failures. At that time, the manufacture of collector valves has been controlled by foreign companies with non-standard parts design, and Sany lacks the ability to independently produce collector valve groups, nor can it find a stable source of supply.

To this end, the technological innovation team headed by Yi Xiaogang broke the routine and decided to use standard parts to assemble the collector valve. Sany Heavy Industry also obtained the company's first patented technology.

In October 1995, the new 60A trailer pump was successfully rolled off the production line, becoming Sany's first popular construction machinery product.

The successful development of the collector valve has allowed Sany to completely get out of the limitation of "foreign countries have not done this, and we can't do it".

In 1999, Sany overcame the two major problems of stress concentration and jitter in the design of the boom, and launched China's first 37-meter-long boom pump truck with independent intellectual property rights.

Just when Sany was growing stronger and stronger in the field of concrete machinery, a sudden change occurred: in 2005, foreign suppliers suddenly "ran out of grain" for high-strength steel plates for pump truck booms, and Sany had to stop production.

Having tasted the pain of being stuck in the neck again, Sany decided to independently develop steel. After several months of hard testing day and night, in the summer of 2006, the special steel plate was baked from Sany's production workshop.

In 2007, Sany launched a 66-meter boom pump truck with 15 patents, setting the first Guinness World Record in the Chinese industry, and then in 2008 and 2011, it successively set new world records for 72-meter and 86-meter pump trucks.

So far, Sany's 86-meter pump truck is still the world's longest steel boom pump truck.

At this time, the high-strength steel plate produced by Sany, whether it is flatness, thermal strength or impact resistance, has been far superior to the imported steel plate, realizing domestic substitution at the same time, but also reducing the material cost by 70%.

In the past 30 years, similar stories have been staged continuously, in exchange for Sany pairs of special chassis, engines, cylinders, slewing rings, reducers, special controllers, remote controls, engines and other key parts have independent intellectual property rights and production capacity.

Today, the key and important parts of Sany pump truck are 100% self-made, and there is no "stuck neck" problem!

Fight the competition, from the Chinese pump king to the world pump king

30 years ago, Sany, which first entered the concrete machinery industry, can be described as a fledgling, and the first domestic trailer pump was first faced with doubts and ridicule.

In order to open up the market, Sany actively attacked the benchmark project and set up a ring at various construction sites.

In 1996, Sany Heavy Industry sent two 60C trailer pumps to participate in the concrete trial competition of the Capital Airport, and shined in the demonstration competitions of more than 20 domestic and foreign brands, and won the results of the longest trouble-free operation time, the largest displacement and the farthest horizontal conveying distance, and won the second place.

In 1998, on the construction site of the 220-meter-high Shenzhen Pengnian Plaza, Sany Tractor Pump and German products, which were known as the world's No. 1 brand at that time, started a battle. And with the same efficiency and higher cost performance, simpler construction technology, Sany Trailer Pump became famous!

In 1999, Sany Trailer Pump set a Chinese record of 300.8 meters for a single pump vertical pumping in Shenzhen SEG Plaza, winning the reputation of "China's Pump King".

The excellent performance has laid a market for Sany concrete machinery.

In 2000, Sany's concrete trailer pumps and pump trucks both ranked first in China's market share.

The story continues.

In 2002, Sany Tractor Pump successfully pumped C60 concrete to an altitude of 406 meters at the construction site of the International Finance Center in Hong Kong, creating a world record for the vertical pumping height of a single pump for the first time and winning the reputation of "World Pump King".

This is the first time that the single-pump vertical pumping record belongs to a Chinese company.

This record was set by Sany at 490 meters, Shanghai World Financial Center at 492 meters, Guangdong East Tower at 530 meters, and Shanghai Tower, the tallest building in China, at 632 meters...... The high-rise buildings have witnessed the leap of Sany from "China's Pump King" to "World's Pump King".

Nowadays, 80% of the high-rise buildings above 300 meters in China are constructed by Sany concrete equipment, and the high-rise buildings above 500 meters are all pumped by Sany.

In 2012, Sany Heavy Industry acquired Putzmeister, the world's No. 1 concrete brand, which completely changed the industry pattern.

Today, the market share of Sany concrete machinery ranks first in the world!

No man's land, take the lead!

Ranking first brings greater challenges, and it has long been a no-man's land in front of Sany.

Innovation is the law of change.

In 2018, with the determination of "either turn over or capsize", Sany Pumping Factory No. 18 was the first to start the construction of the "Lighthouse Factory", taking the first step to explore the transformation of intelligent manufacturing.

After investing 500 million yuan, breaking through 55 key technologies, and overcoming thousands of problems, the No. 18 pumping plant project was successfully put into production in 2020, realizing the whole process of intelligent manufacturing of "one steel plate in, one pump truck out", with production capacity increased by 123% and personnel efficiency increased by 98%.

As a "lighthouse factory" that has been put into production in Sanyi, a number of original technical solutions of Pumping Plant 18 have been fully promoted in more than 40 other digital and intelligent chemical factories, and in 2022, it was selected into the list of global manufacturing lighthouse factories of the World Economic Forum in Davos.

Product innovation never stops.

In 2018, Sanyi first electric mixer truck was developed and entered the market, which is the first enterprise in China to deploy electric mixer trucks.

In 2019, the world's first electric unmanned mixer truck rolled off the assembly line.

In 2020, the world's first hydrogen fuel cell mixer truck rolled off the assembly line and was included in the first set of lists, promoting the national commercial vehicles to enter the "hydrogen era".

In 2021, Sany will be the world's first pureElectric vehicle on-board pumpsLine.

In 2022, the world's first mass-commercial low-carbon intelligent micro-hybrid electric pump truck 620S-MHEV was launched, opening a new journey of electrification of concrete pump trucks.

In 2023, the market share of Sany electric mixer trucks will be as high as 35%, and it will continue to be the national sales champion.
