In July, 16 new electric container trucks delivered by Sany Offshore to Ningbo Zhoushan Port were officially put into operation. This is the second time that Dagang has ushered in the batch truck project of Dagang after signing a global large-scale order of 80 units with PSA Saudi joint venture in June. So far, the number of Sany electric container trucks put into operation in Ningbo Zhoushan Port has exceeded 80, which has become the main equipment for horizontal container transportation and low-carbon development in the port area.

This batch of electric container trucks has the characteristics of long battery life, high efficiency, intelligent safety and so on. The equipment can have a range of more than 120 kilometers on a single charge and a traction mass of more than 70 tons, which meets the needs of low-speed and heavy-duty transportation in the port area.

Compared with traditional diesel trucks, electric trucks not only perform well in environmental protection, but also have the advantages of low noise and low maintenance costs. Sany electric container truck is equipped with high-efficiency batteries, and has functions such as motor direct drive, energy recovery, integrated thermal management, etc., and its comprehensive energy consumption is more than 15% lower than similar products on the market, and its outstanding energy consumption performance is also an important reason for the continuous repurchase of mainstream ports such as Ningbo-Zhoushan Port, Guangzhou Port and Xiamen Port in China and mainstream container operators such as PSA, Maersk and Hutchison overseas.

It is worth mentioning that this batch of equipment is also equipped with a vehicle collision warning device, which can detect the relative speed and distance of moving or fixed objects on the driving route, and trigger a graded alarm to remind the driver to take avoidance measures in time, and has an automatic braking function in an emergency, effectively reducing the probability of vehicle rear-end accidents. At the same time, it adopts a high-voltage system that is much higher than the industry, with multiple safety functions such as high IP protection, high-voltage insulation monitoring, high-voltage safety maintenance, charging protection, pre-charge protection, and short-circuit detection, so as to escort the safe operation of the wharf.
