Recently, Sany Renewable Energy Co., Ltd. successfully passed the verification of BSI, a world-renowned certification body, and became the first enterprise in the wind power industry to obtain the ISO 20400 Sustainable Procurement Declaration of Conformity. The ISO20400 Sustainable Procurement Guidelines are the result of a joint effort by representatives from more than 40 countries and global organizations, including the United Nations Environment Programme, the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development and the International Trade Union Confederation. Officially released in 2017 by the International Organization for Standardization's (ISO) Sustainable Procurement Standardization Work Project Committee, it aims to provide guidance on how organizations can integrate sustainability into their procurement processes.
