In the early morning of November 21, the first 10MW wind turbine in the second bid section of Xinjiang Huadian Dabancheng 500,000 kW wind power project was hoisted by Sany SCC18000TM-8. From the assembly on November 11, the pole on the 15th, and the hoisting of the first tower in the early morning of the 16th, the SCC18000TM-8 and the construction and service teams worked non-stop all the way to seize the low wind window and complete all the installation work of the machine within the scheduled time.


The 10MW wind turbine installed this time has a hub center height of 125m, a cabin weight of 160t, and a total weight of 200t plus spreaders. The SCC18000TM-8 "138+9" standard wind power working condition is adopted, the load factor is only 70%, the load capacity is strong, and the safety margin is large. Due to the strong wind during the day, all hoisting work can only be carried out at night.The excellent precision control ability of Sany crawler crane ensures the safety of night construction.

In addition to its powerful performance, the SCC18000TM-8's work efficiency is also impressive:

  • The whole car is installed within 2 days, and the disassembly and assembly speed is fast. With the function of empty hook suspension and supporting control program, the counterweight can be dismantled less or without disassembly, and the operation efficiency and safety are guaranteed at the same time.
  • The elongated high-angle olecranon arm is equipped with no interference with the fan when hoisting. The additional counterweight is high from the ground, and the site adaptability is good.
  • The center of gravity of the whole machine is low, and the stability of walking transition is high; The walking driving force is strong, the walking speed is fast, and the track wear coefficient is high, which can meet the needs of high-frequency walking transition.


In order to ensure the progress of the project, SCC18000TM-8 began the installation task at 3:00 a.m. on the 16th.


At 7:15 a.m. on November 16, after four hours of orderly operation, the SC18000TM-8 successfully completed the installation of five towers, and pressed the engine room firmly on the tower.


In the early morning of November 18, the second window came and the wheel hoisting was completed.


In the early morning of November 20, the wind speed on the site dropped to within the safe working conditions, and the hoisting team completed the hoisting of the blades overnight. SCC18000TM-8 also began to dismantle the arm and transfer, after 4 hours, the main engine walked with 4 booms to the next operation face 2 kilometers away, and began the preparatory work.
