Recently, at the launch of Sany Hydrogen Energy's 3+1 full range of new products, the international authoritative certification body, Bureau Veritas, was personally awarded the world's first pressurized square alkaline tank certification by Mr. Ye Jiong, general manager of its power and industrial department.


Authoritative certification lays the industry benchmark


Mr. Ye Jiong said at the certification ceremony that in the face of the challenge of high volatility of wind and solar energy resources, ensuring the safety and stability of the hydrogen production system, excellent hydrogen and oxygen purity and wide load operation capacity have always been a common technical challenge faced by the industry. Under the strict witness of Bureau Veritas' technical experts, Sany Hydrogen Energy S series square tank shows perfect adaptability, which is not only a recognition of Sany's hydrogen energy technical strength, but also a great progress in the hydrogen production equipment industry.




Deep cultivation of technology has created six core advantages




Mr. Yuan Dan, Chairman of Sany Hydrogen Energy, introduced in detail the technological breakthrough and excellent performance of the new generation of S series square slots at the press conference. The advantages of the S series square trough with wide load range, gas purity standard in the whole start-up process, and convenient operation and maintenance have won wide attention from experts and enterprises attending the meeting.


The S series square tank focuses on high electric density, large standard square, wide load, and integrates the industry's top composite diaphragm, precious metal electrode, pure nickel and other materials. The electrolysis unit adopts zero-pole distance design and independent circulation structure, and the flow field and temperature field are continuously simulated and improved, supporting 0.5MPa pressure operation, and can achieve stable operation of 12000 electric secrets.


  • Wide load range: The load range of S series square groove is up to 5%-120%, and the system runs stably in various working conditions in the 5%~120% load range during the Bureau Veritas certification test. Especially under the condition of 4+h continuous operation at 5% load, the hydrogen purity has been stable at more than 99.85%, and the oxygen purity has been stable at more than 99.5%.
  • Energy-efficient: By optimizing the structure and material selection of the electrolysis unit, the S-series square tank achieves low energy consumption while maintaining a high electrical density. In the electrically dense range of 2,500 A/m² to 10,000 A/m², DC energy consumption is as low as 3.88-4.4 kWh/Nm³ and current efficiency is up to 97%, setting a new benchmark for the efficient use of hydrogen energy.
  • Convenient operation and maintenance: The innovative modular design makes the operation and maintenance of the S series square tank extremely easy. The replacement of a single electrolysis unit takes only 35 minutes, and the whole maintenance and restart time is reduced to 36 hours, which greatly reduces the operation and maintenance costs and time costs, and improves the availability and reliability of the equipment.
  • Pressure operation: support 0.5MPa pressure operation, to ensure the safety of long-term operation while taking into account the downstream pressure demand, compared with the normal pressure square trough, S series square trough greatly reduces the secondary compression demand.
  • Pure at start-up, zero waste: In the certification tests of hot start, hot standby start, cold start and other working conditions, the purity of hydrogen and oxygen is qualified at start-up, and there is no emptying waste in the whole process.
  • Efficient utilization of green electricity: In the wind and solar fluctuation curve fitting certification of the Hydrogen Energy Alliance, the S series square tank shows excellent dynamic coupling hydrogen production performance, strong power and load change capacity, and the operating power tracking rate is higher than 90%, which is fully qualified for green power hydrogen production projects in large bases.
