Sany Construction Science and Technology Innovation Achievements: The Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development's Science and Technology Plan Project "R&D and Application of BIM Design Software for Intelligent Construction and Prefabricated Buildings" successfully passed the acceptance

This innovative achievement not only marks a major breakthrough in the field of intelligent construction technology, but also provides strong technical support for the digital transformation of the entire construction industry.

The acceptance review meeting was organized by the Science and Technology and Industrialization Development Center of the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development, and the acceptance committee was composed of 7 experts, including Yang Fuchunzheng, deputy general manager of the Information Management Department of China State Construction Group Co., Ltd., Yang Zhenqingzheng, senior engineer, deputy director of the Information Management Department of Beijing Construction Engineering Group Co., Ltd., and Professor Zhang Hong of Tsinghua University. The acceptance experts listened to the report on the results of the project, watched the system demonstration, reviewed the acceptance materials, and unanimously agreed that the project passed the acceptance after careful discussion and questioning.

The project is funded by the Science and Technology Program of the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development, aiming to realize the data application of the whole process of intelligent construction and improve the design efficiency and construction quality of the construction industry through the development and application of prefabricated building BIM design software. The project was launched in February 2022 and successfully completed in September 2024, lasting two and a half years, bringing together the joint efforts and wisdom of China Construction Research Technology Co., Ltd., Beijing Structural Technology Co., Ltd., Sany Construction Engineering Technology Co., Ltd. and other units.

The project is oriented to the whole process of intelligent construction, integrates digital technology and intelligent equipment, improves efficiency in the design, production, construction and other aspects of prefabricated buildings, and realizes the penetration and application of data in the whole process, and the project results have completed the demonstration application in 90 projects in 30 units across the country, and achieved good application results.

During the implementation of the project, Sany Construction Engineering gave full play to its professional advantages in the field of construction industrialization, focusing on the research and development of BIM-based prefabricated building standard component assembly and intelligent splitting technology. Through close collaboration with partners, the project team has successfully developed a number of key technologies, including prefabricated building analysis and design software, multi-discipline collaborative design mode, software data center, standard data interface and reverse integration mechanism. These technological innovations not only improve the standardization, digitalization and intelligence level of prefabricated building design, but also realize the data penetration and application of the whole process of design, production and construction.
