North China University of Technology and Sany Group deepen industry-university-research cooperation to jointly build a new ecology of intelligent construction

The research team visited the cultural exhibition hall of Sany Group, Sany Construction PC Lighthouse Factory, the world's first 5G wind power manufacturing plant, Sany Renewable Energy Test Center, etc., to gain an in-depth understanding of Sany's progress from a local enterprise to the world's top 500, the core of corporate culture, and various innovative achievements. President Zhang highly recognized Sany Construction's "building a house like a car" and the whole process technology of intelligent manufacturing, and believed that its experience has important reference significance for the combination of industry, university and research in universities.

As one of the leading enterprises in the construction industrialization industry, Sany Construction Engineering has fully demonstrated the hard core strength of "technology, equipment and cloud platform", and has been highly praised by the leaders of North China University of Technology. Sany Construction Engineering has carried out the research and development of SPCS and other series of technologies in accordance with the core technology route of "cavity wall column, equivalent isomerism, corner post-pouring, in-plane operation + industrialized mechanical and electrical + prefabricated decoration", and the research and development results have been applied in more than 26 million square meters across the country, among which the life science park project built by Sany Construction Engineering won the first prize of the national "good house" competition and became a model of industry innovation.

At the symposium, Zhang Lifeng and Tang Xiuguo respectively introduced the construction and development status of the two sides and reached a strategic consensus on deepening cooperation.

(1) Co-construction of intelligent construction disciplines

Relying on the bachelor's and master's degree in intelligent construction established by Northern University of Technology in 2019, it integrates the Sany SPCS technology system, promotes the collaboration of curriculum development and scientific research projects, and realizes the deep integration of technical theory and engineering practice.

(2) Construction of a platform for the integration of industry and education

Based on the jointly built "off-campus internship practice base" (2019) and "industry-education integration graduate joint training demonstration base" (2022), a joint scientific research mechanism will be formed in the fields of intelligent construction technology, equipment, platform R&D and application.

(3) Interdisciplinary collaborative innovation

North China University of Technology's strategy of "old engineering, new connotation" is consistent with the path of "intelligent construction" of Sany Construction Engineering, which can expand cooperation in cutting-edge fields such as low-carbon construction and digital construction.

The two sides will further deepen the industry-university-research cooperation model through resource sharing and complementary advantages, jointly build a "Joint Innovation Center for Intelligent Construction and Construction Industrialization", and promote the deep integration of scientific and technological innovation and industrial upgrading.
