On April 25, 2025, "Hunan Province SmartcraneThe 2025 Annual Meeting of the Expert Steering Committee of the Engineering Technology Research Center was held in Sany Heavy Industrial Park! More than 40 industry authoritative experts, government leaders, and enterprise representatives exchanged and discussed the innovation breakthroughs, industrial applications and future development of intelligent crane-related technologies.

Mr. Xie Tao, General Manager of Sany Heavy Lift Division, delivered a speech: "The construction machinery industry is experiencing a critical period of intelligent and digital transformation, and we must make up for the shortcomings of basic intelligence and increase the research of high-end intelligent technology", and emphasized that the research center will continue to deepen collaborative innovation, become the source of technological innovation in the industry, and contribute more to building a world-class construction machinery industry cluster.

Mr. Lu Hao, deputy director of the research center, comprehensively reviewed the main achievements of the research center and made a special report on the future intelligent technology planning.

Experts from universities, scientific research institutes and enterprises, as well as Jiang Jianhua, deputy director of the Management Committee of Ningxiang High-tech Zone, and He Ping, deputy director of Ningxiang Science and Technology Bureau, had a heated discussion on the construction of the research center, and put forward forward-looking suggestions on topics such as platform development, engineering intelligence, safety and energy saving, and overseas export technology layout. Mr. Sun Pizhong, Deputy Director of the Laboratory and Innovation Platform Division of the Hunan Provincial Department of Science and Technology, highly affirmed the contribution of the research center to industrial upgrading, and emphasized that the research center should plan and develop to a higher goal and positioning, and at the same time do a good job in tackling key technical problems, establish an innovation and industry-university-research cooperation mechanism, and accelerate the implementation of the three modernizations strategy.

"Intelligent Aerial Crane" - Dr. Wang Tianhao, Sany Group Cultivation Laboratory

Focusing on the core proposition of "construction machinery (crane) globalization, digital intelligence, and low-carbonization", Professor Hu Lin of Changsha University of Science and Technology, Zhang Xiaodong, Chief Engineer of Geely Automobile, Professor Ai Chao of Yanshan University, Dr. Wang Tianhao of Sany Group Cultivation Laboratory, and Dr. Zhou Rui, Institute of Automation, Chinese Academy of Sciences, conducted in-depth dialogues.

Professor Cao Dongpu, director of the expert committee, summarized the current domestic level and future planning suggestions for autonomous driving and intelligent cockpit, and hoped to strengthen industry-university-research cooperation and major project layout.
