Sany Renewable Energy's 186-meter self-developed mixed-tower wind turbine was successfully hoisted

On May 7, at the site of the second phase of the 50,000 kilowatt wind power project in Chongxin, Gansu Province, the builders of Sany Renewable Energy and Sany Heavy Lift jointly completed the hoisting work of the 186-meter mixed tower wind turbine. Sany Renewable Energy's self-developed wind turbines, self-developed hybrid towers and independent construction, combined with Sany Renewable Energy's self-developed hoisting equipment, create the "acceleration" of wind power hybrid tower project construction.

The project adopts Sany Renewable Energy's SI-200455 mixed tower model, which is the first self-developed mixed tower project independently developed by Sany Renewable Energy. With a total height of 186m, the hybrid tower was independently designed and manufactured by Sany Renewable Energy, creating a new record for the height of the hybrid tower of Sany Renewable Energy.

One of the major challenges of the project was the difficulty in controlling the verticality and horizontality of the mixed tower section. To this end, the Sany Renewable Energy construction team has formulated a standard higher than the industry requirements, with Sany Renewable Energy SAC40000T (4,000 tonsAll-terrain cranesThe technology of "intelligent recognition of boom attitude + active control, adaptive double winch" ensures the subtle operation of tower docking. The cumulative error of the verticality of the final mixing tower section and the horizontality error of each ring have reached the industry-leading level.

Another challenge of the project was the tight construction time, and since the start of construction, it has faced multiple challenges such as extreme weather, complex terrain, and large-scale transportation, first of all, it has encountered continuous windy weather that is rare in a century in Pingliang area. In response to this situation, the project construction team scientifically formulated an emergency plan and seized the hoisting window period, which required both construction quality and operation efficiency.
