From July 16th to 18th local time, the Zambia International Investment Conference was held at the Lusaka International Convention Center in the capital. Guo Ruiguang, Vice President of Sany Group and Chairman of Sany Heavy Industry Africa, led a delegation to attend the meeting, demonstrating the benchmarking role of Chinese enterprises in the field of green energy in Africa.

On the 16th, Zambian President Hakende Hitchlema and Chinese Ambassador to Zambia Han Jing walked into the booth of Sany Group to gain an in-depth understanding of Sany Group's development achievements. Guo Ruiguang introduced the technical highlights and application value of Sany green microgrid solutions in detail, and Zambian President Hakende Hichilema was amazed and gave a thumbs up, expressing high recognition of Sany's innovative strength.

On the same day, witnessed by Zambian President Hakende Hichilema, Guo Ruiguang and Zambia Investment Development Agency Director Albert Harwampa signed a memorandum of understanding on green mine cooperation, and the two sides will jointly promote the green transformation of Zambian mines through integrated microgrids and new energy technology solutions.

On the 17th, at the China-Zambia Investment Cooperation Seminar, Guo Ruiguang delivered a keynote speech "Sany Green Microgrid Solution for Low-carbon Development in Africa".

Guo Ruiguang introduced that Sany actively responds to the global "double carbon" goal, comprehensively lays out the wind, solar, hydrogen and storage industry chains, successfully integrates new energy and electrification technology, launches a one-stop solution of "new energy + electric machinery", and is committed to promoting the green transformation of global energy.

At present, the Sany microgrid project has made significant progress in Africa, completing the largest single microgrid project in Africa (8MWp photovoltaic + 24MWh energy storage), from construction to commissioning in only 5 months, leading the industry. With its fast delivery capabilities and economic benefits, Sany has signed more than 20 microgrid projects in 7 countries including Zambia, Zimbabwe and Kenya.

During the conference, Sany Group also signed a memorandum of cooperation with Zambia's Huazan Mining Investment Co., Ltd., and the two sides will deepen cooperation in joint mine development, microgrid business and green mine integration.
