On July 26, the world's largest monomer green ammonia plant, the State Power Investment Da'an Wind and Solar Green Hydrogen Synthesis Ammonia Integration Demonstration Project, was held in Baicheng, Jilin. Hu Yuting, Deputy Secretary of the Jilin Provincial Party Committee and Governor, attended the event and announced the commissioning of the Da'an project, Lu Junling, Chief Economist of the National Energy Administration, Liu Mingsheng, Secretary of the Party Group and Chairman of the State Power Investment Group, attended the event and delivered a speech, Li Baoqing, General Manager and Deputy Secretary of the Party Group of the State Power Investment Group, relevant responsible comrades of the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, and Liu Wei, Secretary General of the Jilin Provincial Government, attended the event, and Liu Feng, member of the Party Group and Deputy General Manager of the State Power Investment Group, presided over the event.
The project is funded and built by Jidian Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Jidian Co., Ltd., and is operated by Daan Jidian Green Hydrogen Energy Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Jidian Co., Ltd., and is the first in the world to put into operation four "world's best" such as the world's largest one-time production of green ammonia monomer and the world's largest DC microgrid hydrogen production.
As a national clean and low-carbon hydrogen energy demonstration project and one of the top 100 projects in strategic emerging industries, the project first uses the rich scenery and solar resources in western Jilin to generate "green electricity", and then produces "green hydrogen" through the electrolysis water hydrogen production device, and then combines it with nitrogen in the air to synthesize it into "green ammonia" under the action of catalysts, running through the whole industrial chain from new energy consumption to green synthetic ammonia consumption. The produced "green ammonia" can be widely used in chemical, transportation and electric power fields.

The installed capacity of the new energy part of the project reaches 800 megawatts, including 700 megawatts of wind power and 100 megawatts of photovoltaics; In the follow-up hydrogen and ammonia production part, it has four innovative technologies in the world, including the world's largest DC microgrid hydrogen production and the world's largest solid-state hydrogen storage. Among them, Sany Renewable Energy provides a total of 300 megawatts of wind turbines, including 50 units with a single capacity of 5 megawatts and 8 units of 6.25 megawatts with a single impeller diameter of 193 meters; Sany Hydrogen Energy provides 8 sets of electrolyzers with a single hydrogen production capacity of 1000 Nm³/h for the project.
After it is put into operation, the project will achieve an annual production of 32,000 tons of green hydrogen and 180,000 tons of green ammonia, which can reduce carbon emissions by about 650,000 tons per year, which is equivalent to offsetting the carbon emissions of nearly 500,000 ordinary households in a year.
