Sany Group and Dalian University of Technology deepened industry-university-research cooperation and exchanges

On August 11, Lu Guangyang, Director of Sany Group's Intelligent Manufacturing Headquarters, and Liu Kui, Director of R&D Management Headquarters, led the group's technical delegation to visit Dalian University of Technology, and the two sides jointly carried out in-depth exchange activities between industry, university and research.

Zhao Jun, Dean of the Institute of Science and Technology of Dalian University of Technology, heads of relevant departments of the Institute of Science and Technology, and heads of the schools of materials, energy, chemical engineering, machinery, aviation, economics and management attended the meeting.

The two sides conducted in-depth technical discussions on the core needs of Sany Group in business scenarios such as new technologies, new processes, new materials, and new equipment. The meeting was presided over by Lu Yiping, Dean of the School of Materials of Dalian University of Technology.

Dong Honggang, Secretary of the Party Committee of the School of Materials of Dalian University of Technology, said on behalf of the participating college that the college will establish a special working mechanism to promote the implementation of cooperation, and hopes to take this exchange meeting as a starting point to establish a normalized communication and cooperation mechanism, promote the cooperation between the two sides to deepen and implement, and jointly create a model of deep integration of industry, university, research and application.

In the technical docking link, the two sides closely followed the business scenario needs of Sany Group and conducted in-depth discussions. The technical delegation of Sany Group put forward a number of technical requirements such as new material research and development and application, welding technology, and process optimization, and experts from relevant colleges of the school gave professional responses on the spot. After full exchanges, the two sides reached more than 10 cooperation intentions in various technical fields, leading the cooperation between the two sides to a new stage of development.

Before the meeting, the technical delegation of Sany Group visited the Analysis and Testing Center of Dalian University of Technology and highly recognized the construction of its scientific research platform.
