According to the Information Bureau of the Presidential Office of Kazakhstan, on September 2, Kazakh President Tokayev met with Xiang Wenbo, rotating chairman of China Sany Group and chairman of Sany Heavy Industry, in Beijing.

During the talks, the two sides discussed cooperation projects in the fields of green energy, machinery manufacturing, scientific research and innovative technology.
President Tokayev spoke highly of Sany Group's willingness to expand its business in the Kazakhstan market and noted that the company's plan to build an advanced production line of special equipment in Kazakhstan will bring a positive impetus to the country's industrial development.
The President specifically mentioned that the opening of the wind power plant in Jambore State on the same day is an important step in deepening cooperation between the two sides.
Xiang Wenbo introduced Sany Group's project plan in Kazakhstan during the meeting, specifically, the company is currently building a wind power plant with an installed capacity of 1 GW.
On the same day, Kazakh President Tokayev and Ding Xuexiang, member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and Vice Premier of the State Council, attended the completion ceremony of the first phase of the wind power generation equipment component production plant in Jiangbul Prefecture through video link.
The project is the result of a successful collaboration between the Samruk-Kazena National Welfare Fund and SANY Renewable Energy.
Sany Renewable Energy is globalWind power equipmentA leader in the manufacturing industry, this is its first factory in Kazakhstan.
The production site is located in the "Silk Road" special economic zone of Chuhe City and mainly produces key components such as engine rooms, wheels and towers required for wind power stations.
The implementation of the project will support the construction of new power plants in Kazakhstan and make an important contribution to the development of "green" energy.
