Recently, Sany Renewable Energy ushered in the "double happiness" of technological innovation achievements - SI-270150 wind turbine was certified as "Beijing New Technology, New Product and New Service", and SI-264136 model also won the certification of "Beijing's first (set) of major technical equipment products".

The acquisition of these two heavyweight certifications is not only an official affirmation of the innovation ability of enterprises by government departments, but also demonstrates Sany Renewable Energy's hard power in wind power technology research and development and innovative application.

The first (set) of major technical equipment products in Beijing: SI-264136

The "Beijing's first (set) of major technical equipment" certification focuses on the "national heavy weapon" in the field of high-end equipment manufacturing, emphasizing major technological breakthroughs, independent intellectual property rights and the first set of attributes.

Sany Renewable Energy SI-264136 model was selected into the "Beijing First (Set) Major Technical Equipment Catalogue" due to its innovative breakthrough in large-megawatt offshore wind power technology. The SI-264136 model has a single unit capacity of 13.6 megawatts, and the first prototype rolled off the assembly line in December 2024.

This model was the first large-megawatt offshore wind turbine in China to adopt high-speed dual-feed technology route at that time, and applied dual TRB spindle system and integrated transmission system, which overcame the problem of integrated design of large-megawatt offshore support structure and optimized the overall offshore foundation engineering volume by 13.5%; Break through the design problem of typhoon limit wind speed and realize the typhoon adaptive redundancy design of key components.

Beijing New Technology, New Products and New Services: SI-270150

The "Beijing New Technology, New Products and New Services" certification is jointly issued by five departments including the Beijing Municipal Science and Technology Commission and the Beijing Municipal Development and Reform Commission, focusing on the advancement and innovation of product technology, as well as market prospects and application promotion.

The SI-270150 wind turbine, which has been awarded the "Beijing New Technology, New Product and New Service" certification, is a blockbuster product built by Sany Renewable Energy on a 12.X~16.X megawatt offshore and land platform, with an impeller diameter of 270 meters and a design life extended to 25~30 years, which can cover a variety of marine and land application scenarios at medium and high wind speeds. In October 2024, the first prototype of SI-270150 was hoisted and connected to the grid, setting two global records for the largest single unit capacity and the largest impeller diameter of the hoisted onshore unit in one fell swoop.

In April this year, SI-270150 wind turbine took the lead in passing the 0 voltage ride-through test and 0-130% single-chain fault voltage pass-through test of the Chinese Electric Power Research Institute, becoming the first wind turbine in China to complete the fault ride-through test in accordance with the latest national standards for offshore wind power.

When China's wind power gradually enters the "no man's land" of technology, Sany Renewable Energy dares to be the first, with the collaborative innovation of the whole industry chain and the in-depth verification of the whole life cycle, to explore the way for the development of the wind power industry, and become the first batch of complete machine manufacturers in China to promote the project design, prototype off-line, and order conversion of wind turbines above 10MW.
