On December 19, in the Yangtze River shield crossing project of the China-Russia East Line Natural Gas Pipeline, the "Changtong" shield machine tunneled through 2,000 rings, and the tunnel mileage was 3,000 meters.
The Yangtze River shield crossing project is a control project of the whole line of the Sino-Russian natural gas east line, and the diameter of the "Changtong" shield machine is 7.95 meters, which is the world's smallest diameter atmospheric cutterhead shield machine independently developed by China. The shield machine crosses the Yangtze River in the form of a tunnel, and crosses the river for 7.5 kilometers.It is the longest tunnel under construction across the Yangtze River, and is also known as "the first longest tunnel of the Yangtze River"。
After the completion of the "Changtong" shield machine, it will be driven out of the south bank of Changshu City, and the south bank working well will be used as a receiving shaft, which will be constructed and used by the open-cut reverse methodOne SCC3200A-1 and one SCC3200A-2 are responsible for the hoisting and foundation construction of the reinforcement cage, and prepare for the shield machine to go out of the well after penetrating the Yangtze River.
When the shield machine is out of the well, the base must have sufficient strength and rigidity, especially the base in the form of steel structure, and the stability must also be taken into account, so the hoisting equipment must have excellent capabilities.

The Yangtze River shield crossing project has the characteristics of "ultra-long distance, ultra-high water pressure, ultra-large buried depth, ultra-high difficulty, and ultra-tight construction period", with a single-head excavation length of 10.226 kilometers, setting a record for the longest single-head tunneling mileage of a single shield machine in the world, and is defined by experts as a world-class challenge to complete the "marathon" course at a sprint speed.
After the completion of the project, the "Russian gas" passing through the three northeastern provinces and the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region can be sent to the Yangtze River Delta region, improve the emergency support capacity of the natural gas pipeline network in the Yangtze River Delta region, meet the development needs of the regional natural gas industry and the demand for people's livelihood gas, and effectively improve the atmospheric environment in the Yangtze River Delta region.
