The development of domestic concrete machinery started relatively late, when Sany Heavy Industry first explored the field of construction machinery, more than 90% of the construction machinery products in the Chinese market are foreign brands, and there are few construction machinery belonging to China's own brand on the domestic construction site.
In order to break the market monopoly of foreign brands, after many investigations, Yi Xiaogang, then deputy general manager of Sany Heavy Industry, decided to lock the boom length of Sany's first pump truck at 37 meters, which is one meter higher than the longest boom in the domestic market of 36 meters.
