Wuhan Tianxingzhou Yangtze River Bridge, the world's largest road-rail dual-purpose bridge *8981, is the second road-rail dual-purpose bridge in Wuhan after the Wuhan Yangtze River Bridge. Wuhan Tianxingzhou Yangtze River Bridge is located in Wuhan City, Hubei Province, the bridge starts from Hankou Ping'an Pu in the northwest and ends at the main road of Wuchang and Wuqing in the southeast. The bridge is the sixth Yangtze River bridge in Wuhan, the second road and railway bridge, and a key project of the third ring road in Wuhan. The foundation stone of the bridge was laid in December 2003, construction began on September 28, 2004, closed on September 10, 2008, and was completed and opened to traffic on December 26, 2009. The bridge is the world's largest road and railway dual-purpose bridge, and the lower deck is a railway that can run four trains in parallel.
