The exterior of the National Centre for the Performing Arts is a steel structure shell, which is semi-ellipsoidal, with a plane projection length of 212.20 meters in the east-west direction and a north-south direction of 143.64 meters in the short axis, and the building height is 46.285 meters, which is slightly lower than the Great Hall of the People by 3.32 meters, and the foundation *8981 depth part reaches -32.5 meters. The shell of the Grand Theater is made of more than 18,000 titanium plates, covering an area of more than 30,000 square meters, and only 4 of the more than 18,000 titanium plates are exactly the same shape. The titanium sheet is specially oxidized, and its surface metallic luster has a texture, and the color will not change for 15 years. In the middle is a gradual glass curtain wall, which is made of more than 1,200 pieces of ultra-clear glass.
