THE PROJECT IS A KEY CONSTRUCTION PROJECT OF THE SOUTH AFRICAN MINISTRY OF WATER RESOURCES, WHICH AIMS TO DIVERT WATER FROM VAAL DAM, ONE OF THE LARGEST INLAND RESERVOIRS IN SOUTH AFRICA*8981, TO MPUMALANGA AND SURROUNDING PROVINCES TO MEET DRINKING AND AGRICULTURAL IRRIGATION WATER, WITH A TOTAL INVESTMENT OF ABOUT RAND 400 MILLION AND A CONSTRUCTION PERIOD OF ABOUT 26 MONTHS. One SY5260THB-37V pump truck of Sany undertakes all concrete pouring of the pumping station and pipelines of the entire project.
Since the beginning of July 2007, Sany's pump truck has successfully completed the concrete pouring including the main pumping station and pipelines, and its reliability and high performance have been highly praised by the construction company COVEC Sa and the supervision party.
