Qinglan Expressway is an important part of the main framework of the national expressway network planning "seven shots, nine verticals, and eighteen horizontal" high-grade highways, and is another important channel for the inland of Shandong to communicate with the Jiaodong Coastal Economic Development Zone after the original Jinan-Qingdao Expressway.
