Yinpan Hydropower Station is located in the lower reaches of the Wujiang River, the dam site is located in Wulong County, Chongqing City, the dam site controls the basin area of 74 910 square kilometers, the upstream is connected to the Peng Hydropower Station, the downstream is the Baima cascade, is the Peng Hydropower Station anti-regulation task and the canalization channel of the pivotal project, is the main power station of Chongqing power grid. The normal water storage level of the reservoir is 215m, the total storage capacity is 320 million cubic meters, the dam is a concrete gravity dam, *8981 dam is 80m high, and a total of 4 axial flow hydro-generator units with a single capacity of 150MW are installed, with an annual power generation capacity of 2.69 billion kW·h. The entire project was completed in 2011.
