The Yichuan County section of the Qingdao (Island) Lan (Zhou) Expressway in Shaanxi Province has a total length of 192 kilometers and an investment of 13.89 billion yuan. With a full interchange and four lanes, the journey from Xi'an to Hukou Waterfall has been shortened from nearly 6 hours to less than 4 hours. The Qingdao-Lanzhou Highway is an important passage connecting the central and western regions of China and the eastern region, crossing the Yellow River from Shanxi Province to Shaanxi Province in Hukou Township, Yichuan County, Yan'an City, and passing through the old reform area of northern Shaanxi. The completion and opening of the Shaanxi section of the Qinglan Expressway has become the third major passage across the east and west in Shaanxi Province, which will not only greatly improve the traffic conditions and investment environment in northern Shaanxi, but also strengthen the ties between northern Shaanxi and Shanxi, Hebei, Shandong and other central and eastern provinces and regions.
