Sany Equipment participated in the construction of the railway in Bangkok, Thailand

The China-Laos-Thailand International Railway Corridor refers to the Kunming-Bangkok Railway, which is the middle line of the Pan-Asian Railway in the planning, with a total length of about 1,830 kilometers. The total length of Mohan from Kunming to the China-Laos border port is 710 kilometers, the 110 kilometers of the southern section of Kunming-Yuxi has been completed, and about 600 kilometers of the new Yuxi-Mohan section during the "Eleventh Five-Year Plan" period is planned.

The unique engineering and construction has become an important infrastructure building in many cities in Thailand. In May 2013, Thailand entered into a unique and strategic cooperation with Sany and purchased 170 sets of equipment, including truck cranes, excavators, rotary drilling rigs, road rollers, motor graders, concrete mixing plants and mixer trucks. Sany has become a long-term supplier of construction machinery procurement in Thailand.

The $1 billion Bangsue rail contract will commence in May 2013 and is expected to be fully completed in May 2017. The project is part of Thailand's $90 billion infrastructure development.

The railway will be connected to the existing metro station. The LRT and suburban rail will be connected to Bangkok and the China-Laos-Thailand-Singapore high-speed rail. The Bangsue Railway Passenger Terminal will serve as Thailand's new first-class railway. Due to the tight construction timeline, all equipment is in 24-hour operation and provides efficient priority after-sales service. Seven SMG200 motor graders, five SPR200 rollers and several SSR120 rollers continue to work on the project.

On February 3, 2014, a motor grader equipment had problems during the construction of the project. After getting in touch with the after-sales engineer of Sany Thailand, *8982 rushed to the construction site to organize and lead the maintenance personnel to repair and inspect the faulty equipment, so that the equipment could be restored to use within a week. So far, the motor grader has successfully completed 3,000 hours of work in the *8982 stage.
