In Qatar's plan, *8981 stands out for spending $45 billion to build a new city, Lusail. According to reports, the envisaged new city will be built in the eastern part of Qatar, 15 kilometers north of Doha. "Lusail is planned to be a unique and iconic city for the 21st century, a tribute to the unique geographical and cultural heritage of Qatar and the entire Persian Gulf."
