China Wind Power News Network: On August 17, the National Energy Administration released the national power industry statistics from January to July.

As of the end of July, the country's cumulative installed power generation capacity was about 2.74 billion kilowatts, a year-on-year increase of 11.5%. Among them, the installed capacity of solar power generation was about 490 million kilowatts, a year-on-year increase of 42.9%; The installed capacity of wind power was about 390 million kilowatts, a year-on-year increase of 14.3%.

From January to July, the country added 26.31 million kilowatts of wind power capacity, an increase of 11.38 million kilowatts over the same period last year.

From January to July, the cumulative average utilization of power generation equipment nationwide was 2,079 hours, a decrease of 54 hours over the same period last year. Among them, 1,578 hours of hydropower, a decrease of 523 hours over the same period of the previous year; 780 hours of solar power generation, a decrease of 42 hours over the same period last year; 1,416 hours of wind power, an increase of 112 hours over the same period of the previous year; 4,440 hours of nuclear power, an increase of 100 hours over the same period of the previous year; 2,573 hours of thermal power, an increase of 96 hours over the same period of the previous year.

From January to July, the country's major power generation enterprises completed an investment of 401.3 billion yuan in power projects, a year-on-year increase of 54.4%. Among them, solar power generation was 161.2 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 108.7%; nuclear power was 43.9 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 50.5%. The investment in power grid projects was 247.3 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 10.4%.
