Bloomberg New Energy Finance recently released data showing thatIn 2023, China's new wind power capacity will be 77.1GW, a record high, up 58% compared to 2022. Among them, onshore wind power added 69.4GW, a year-on-year increase of 59%; Offshore wind power added 7.6GW, a year-on-year increase of 48%. 2023 will be the first year that China's wind power market will achieve both onshore and offshore growth after the cessation of subsidies for new wind power projects.
According to the statistical results of China's new wind power hoisting capacity in 2023, the top three wind turbine manufacturers all have a hoisting capacity of more than 10GW. Among them, Goldwind continues to rank first, and Envision Energy ranks second and is gradually narrowing the gap. Yunda shares surpassed Mingyang Intelligent to win the third. Mingyang Intelligent and Sany Renewable Energy ranked fourth and fifth, respectively.
In the onshore wind power market, the top three are Goldwind Technology, Envision Energy, and Yunda Co., Ltd., Sany Renewable Energy's onshore wind power hoisting capacity in 2023 has almost doubled compared with 2022 and ranked fourth, and Dongfang Electric has achieved a three-fold increase in onshore wind power hoisting capacity, ranking fifth.
In the offshore wind power market, Mingyang Intelligent has doubled the newly installed capacity of offshore wind power compared to 2022, and replaced electric wind power to rank first, with the top three complete machine manufacturers being Mingyang Intelligent (2.9GW), Electric Wind Power (1.6GW) and Envision Energy (1.1GW). In 2023, Yunda completed the hoisting of its first offshore wind power project with a total capacity of 504MW. ,

In 2023, Goldwind, Envision Energy and Yunda will have a combined market share of 53%, which is basically the same as that of the top three wind turbine manufacturers in 2022. Affected by fierce local competition, foreign wind turbine manufacturers have almost no new hoisting capacity in China, and only Vestas has 61MW of new hoisting capacity.
