Hunan has approved 7 expressways to ensure the start of construction this year

On July 21, the construction of the Guanzhuang-Xinhua Expressway was approved by the Provincial Development and Reform Commission. So far, the provincial government has determined that the construction of 9 expressways will be guaranteed in 2017, except for Pingjiang (Hunan and Jiangxi boundaries) to Wu City and Wu City to Yiyang, which are being tendered by investors, the remaining 7 works can be approved.

On July 21, the Guanzhuang (Huaihua) to Xinhua (Loudi) expressway project was approved by the Provincial Development and Reform Commission. The Guanzhuang-Xinhua Expressway is an important component of the Hohhot-Beihai National Expressway. It passes through 4 cities of Huaihua, Changde, Yiyang and Loudi, with a total length of about 80 kilometers and an estimated investment of about 13.57 billion yuan. The main line adopts the standard construction of a four-lane expressway, with a design speed of 100 km/h and a roadbed width of 26 meters from Guanzhuang to Anhua, about 28 kilometers. The section from Anhua to Xinhua is about 52 kilometers, with a design speed of 80 km/h and a roadbed width of 25.5 meters.

This year, Hunan will ensure that the construction of Qidong Guiyang to Changning Pengtang, Anxiang to Cili, Jingzhou to Liping (Hunan and Guizhou boundaries), Jiangbei to Ganshan, Ningxiang to Shaoshan, Chenglingji, Pingjiang (Hunan and Jiangxi boundaries) to Wushi, Wushi to Yiyang, Guanzhuang to Xinhua nine expressways totaling 535 kilometers, and strive to start construction of Baicang to Xinning, Zhijiang to Tongren (Hunan and Guizhou boundary) and Liling to Loudi expansion project three expressways totaling 448 kilometers.
