On 24 March, with the assistance of a number of Sany equipment, the Yuen Long Shelter Hospital was handed over to the Hong Kong SAR Government, marking the completion of the first phase of the Central Government's assistance to Hong Kong's anti-epidemic medical facilities.

In mid-to-late January this year, a new wave of the new crown epidemic hit Hong Kong. As the number of confirmed cases continues to rise, Hong Kong's healthcare system is overwhelmed, and the SAR government has sent a request to the central government.
The Central Government has provided assistance to Hong Kong to fight the epidemic together. In just one month, Hong Kong's mobile hospitals built with the assistance of the central government, such as Tsing Yi, San Tin, Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge Hong Kong Port, Fanling, Hung Shui Kiu and Yuen Long, have been built, and about 20,000 isolation beds have been put into use, injecting a shot in the arm for Hong Kong, which is battling the fifth wave of the new crown epidemic.
Yuen Long Cabin Hospital was completed and delivered
On March 25, the Hong Kong Economic Herald published an article entitled "Interview with Hong Kong's Front-line Construction Workers: We Can't Retreat at This Time", praising the construction force behind the "China Speed" and paying tribute to all front-line workers in Hong Kong who are fighting the epidemic together.
The builders interviewed were all from Sany Group's construction machinery equipment and service provider in Hong Kong, Zhongfu Hong Kong Machinery Co., Ltd.

"On the evening of February 25, we received the task of building a cabin hospital assigned by China State Construction (International), and we arrived at the site within 6 hours, and all the employees were in place the next day." Lin Guanhua, assistant general manager of Zhongfu Hong Kong, said.

At that time, Hong Kong was at the height of the epidemic, but these builders did not back down in the slightest.
Shi Zhifang, from Shandong, has been working at the front-line construction site of the cabin hospital for nearly a month, responsible for operating the Sany pump truck to irrigate the foundation.

Sany equipment does not stop working 24 hours a day, and everyone takes turns to change the guard, but Shi Zhifang has always stuck to the front line, and the only time he went home twice was to get something, Lin Guanhua praised and said, "He is the most ruthless on our side."
The rapid nucleic acid test stickers on the hat are his special "medals". Shi Zhifang said, "It is my pride to be able to contribute to Hong Kong at this time."
Not only Shi Zhifang, but under the epidemic, in order to reduce the risk of round-trip journeys, front-line builders have reduced their return home as much as possible. There are not a few people who insist on working 48 hours or even 72 hours in a row.
Zhou Zhengchang, a worker from Hunan, usually works 48 hours a day, and then takes a day off. "The project requirements of the cabin hospital are special, the machine must be started 24 hours a day, and after high-intensity work, the rest day is basically used to catch up on sleep."
It is understood that Zhou Zhengchang participated in the construction of the Yuen Long Tam Mei Cabin Hospital, which is the largest project, the most complex geological conditions and the largest amount of foundation treatment work among the six community isolation facilities built with the assistance of the central government, and its concrete pouring volume is equivalent to a medium-sized real estate project in Hong Kong.
Under such a long and high-intensity work, Shi Zhifang and Zhou Zhengchang from the mainland have both received concerns from their families. Especially after the outbreak of the epidemic in Hong Kong, Shi Zhifang's mother in Shandong asked her son to go back several times after seeing the news, and also proposed to "reimburse" the travel expenses.
This time, Zhongfu Hong Kong participated in the construction of multi-prescription cabin hospitals in Penny's Bay, Yuen Long Ngau Tong Mei, Kai Tak and King Tin with a number of Sany equipment.
Lin Guanhua revealed that in order to give priority to the completion of the engineering tasks of the mobile hospital, they had to cancel or delay some other engineering projects, which even led to the loss of some customers. However, considering the particularity of the mobile hospital project, which is not only an important political task of the central government's assistance to Hong Kong, but also a matter of safety and well-being of Hong Kong citizens, they still made some sacrifices.
At the handover ceremony of the Yuen Long Shelter Hospital, Carrie Lam, Chief Executive of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, on behalf of the HKSAR Government and all the public, expressed her heartfelt thanks to every worker in the construction team. She said that when the fifth wave of the epidemic hit Hong Kong, the SAR government requested assistance from the central government, and the central government responded to the request and provided full support, completing the construction of six facilities in less than one month.
