Sany was in charge of the projectVehicles and critical systemsDesign, R&D and manufacturing,Sany independent intellectual property rights, new design and developmentto build the first demonstration project for China's heavy-duty truck vehicles to realize electrified transportation in the highway system.



The completion of the demonstration line fills the gap in the field of electrified highways in China, and injects surging impetus into opening up a new path for heavy-duty road freight transportation and realizing the goals of "transportation power" and "double carbon".

The project is located in Zhuzhou, Hunan,By Sany Group, CRRC Zhuzhou Institute, Tsinghua Universityand other joint research and development, the whole line is two-way two-lane, roadWidth 7 metersErection53 rootsThe assembly pillars total1.8 kmcatenary and1 placeBox-type substation.



Lines coveredStraight lines, curves, ramps, uneven pavement, wading and immersion test areasand other road conditions, providing rich simulation scenarios for testing vehicle performance and system reliability, and providing reference and basis for later commercial operation.

Ground systemsIt is mainly used for the collaborative management of electric energy conversion and transmission, vehicle formation, and transportation organization.Vehicle systemsThrough the pantograph device, the electrical energy is converted into power through the control and conversion system, which drives the vehicle to run on the road and realizes dynamic charging.



The traditional road freight system consumes a large amount of fossil fuels such as diesel, and has problems such as scattered, chaotic, inefficient, and high carbon emissions, which is difficult to meet the development needs of green, low-carbon, intelligent and efficient road freight in the future.

And electrified highway systemsBy inheriting the overhead catenary power supply mode of rail transitIt deeply integrates core system components such as cloud driving organization and scheduling, vehicle-ground communication, vehicle electrical, and ground power supply, and carries out functional reconstruction, which can greatly improve freight efficiency.
