Wang Xiangxi, Minister of Emergency Management, conducted research in Hunan and visited Sany on the spot

On the afternoon of June 12, Shen Xiaoming, Secretary of the Hunan Provincial Party Committee, met with Wang Xiangxi, Secretary of the Party Committee and Minister of the Ministry of Emergency Management, in Changsha.

He said that Hunan has thoroughly studied and implemented the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping's important exposition on better coordinating development and security, deeply learned the lessons of Changsha's "4.29" particularly major residential self-built house collapse accident, and will always maintain a sense of responsibility of "always rest assured", constantly consolidate the responsibilities of all parties, improve the emergency management system, improve emergency management capabilities, and promote high-quality development and high-level safety and benign interaction.

Wang Xiangxi thanked the Hunan Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial Government for their concern and support for emergency management, and hoped that Hunan would better coordinate development and security, give top priority to the prevention and containment of major accidents, strengthen the emergency management system and capacity building, and do a good job in disaster prevention, mitigation and relief. The Ministry of Emergency Management will continue to support Hunan in terms of emergency rescue capacity building and emergency industry development.

During his stay in Hunan Province, Wang Xiangxi and his entourage also went to Changsha to inspect flood prevention and preparedness, investigation and rectification of hidden accidents in equipment manufacturing enterprises, construction of natural disaster monitoring and early warning platforms, and safety production in enterprises.
