The reporter recently interviewed some manufacturing enterprises and found that the industrial Internet is promoting the deep integration of the digital economy and the real economy, bringing a new scene to industrial production.
"Steel Giant Elephant" flexible manufacturing

Walking into the Sany Heavy Industry Pile Driver Factory in Changping District, Beijing, the reporter was immediately attracted by dozens of machines tens of meters high in the factory. "This is the rotary drilling rig produced by our factory, commonly known aspile driver, one has nearly 100 tons, and the maximum drilling depth is more than 100 meters. Yin Yanhu, director of the plant's process technology institute, said that the rotary drilling rig is mainly used for pile foundation drilling in large-scale infrastructure projects, and the depth of the pile foundation often determines the height of the building.
How did such a "steel giant" come about? The reporter walked into a manufacturing workshop and saw that in the workshop with three or four floors high, all kinds of robots on the production line were neatly arranged and were busy working. On the welding line, several robots equipped with automatic welding guns are welding a drill pipe more than 20 meters long: blue arc light chases infrared targets and trajectories, mixed with the sound of pulsing "squeak" welding...... The reporter searched carefully and finally found several workers among the many robots. Contrary to the image of sweating rain, workers are now more like "watching" the robots, urging them to work hard.
"In the past, the work scene in the factory was mainly manual, like setting up a stall, and it took about a month to produce a rotary drilling rig. In the past, there were more than 1,000 workers with an annual output value of more than 3 billion yuan. In 2019, the factory began to undergo a digital transformation. Now it only takes seven or eight days to produce a rotary drilling rig, the annual output value has increased to more than 7 billion yuan, and hundreds of workers have transformed into multi-skilled workers and engineers who can work and program. Yin Yanhu, who has worked for 12 years, has witnessed the changes that digitalization has brought to the factory.

The key to realizing digital transformation and upgrading is the digital system built by relying on the "root cloud platform" of the industrial Internet platform tree root interconnection. "The control center system of the factory is equivalent to the 'brain' of intelligent manufacturing." Yin Yanhu introduced that the process of producing a rotary drilling rig includes steel plate blanking, welding, machining, painting, assembly, etc., through the control center system, the order can be quickly decomposed into each flexible production line, each work island, each equipment, each worker, to achieve the whole process of data driven from order to delivery. For example, welding, handling, assembly, etc. are all efficiently completed by robots. In the background, the "root cloud platform" constantly analyzes the industrial big data collected by more than 36,000 data collection points to match the optimal parameters for each process, each model, and even each tool, and optimize the process flow. In 2021, the plant was successfully selected as a "Lighthouse Factory" by the World Economic Forum.
Promote enterprises to surf the Internet

Connecting many production lines, equipment, and workers of industrial enterprises is data-driven, and a powerful industrial Internet is required. According to the data released by the 2023 Industrial Internet Conference held recently, the scale of China's industrial Internet industry has exceeded 1.2 trillion yuan, with more than 240 influential industrial Internet platforms and more than 260,000 service enterprises.
Tree Root Internet is one of the industrial Internet platforms. Recently, the company released three scenario versions of the root cloud industrial Internet operating system, covering "smart factory", "digital enterprise" and "smart chain group". Reduce the cost of digital transformation

Recently, the State Administration for Market Regulation (Standardization Administration of the People's Republic of China) issued an announcement that three national standards in the field of industrial Internet platforms, namely "Industrial Internet Platform Selection Requirements", "Industrial Internet Platform Microservice Reference Framework" and "Industrial Internet Platform Open Application Programming Interface Functional Requirements", were officially released.
"The industrial Internet platform is the core foundation for the deep integration of manufacturing and new generation information technology. The release of three important national standards has clarified the key points and practical paths for key technological breakthroughs, provided an important reference for enterprises to move from 'building a platform' to 'selecting a platform', and is of great significance to the standardization of China's industrial Internet platform and the high-quality promotion of new industrialization. He Dongdong said.
Yin Yanhu believes that at first, various industrial Internet platforms and manufacturing enterprises are trying to do their own thing, because of the lack of standards, different product functions, and different data obtained, the consequence is that the cost of intermediate docking, communication and integration is too high, which affects the effect of enterprise digital upgrading and puts great pressure on the digital transformation or application of small and medium-sized enterprises. With national standards, equipment interfaces, data collection, and integration are more standardized, which is more conducive to the promotion of the industrial Internet, especially for small and medium-sized enterprises, and the cost of digital transformation will be lower.
This year is the final year of the "Industrial Internet Innovation and Development Action Plan (2021-2023)" issued by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology. The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology has formulated and promoted more than 10 integrated application guidelines for key industries such as steel and electronics, and has selected nearly 600 pilot demonstration application benchmarks.
