On October 2 this year, the Jakarta-Bandung high-speed railway, one of the landmark projects of the Belt and Road Initiative in the past decade, was officially opened. This means that what used to take more than 3 hours by car can now be reached in more than 40 minutes.

He told reporters that behind the construction of the Jakarta-Bandung high-speed railway, there are more than 500 sets of Sany heavy industry equipment chasing stars and moons, and the fiery construction figure, which is another successful practice of Made in China along the "Belt and Road" to the world.

"I counted that during the peak period of the construction of the Jakarta-Bandung high-speed railway, the equipment provided by Sany included more than 150 excavators, more than 60 rotary drills, more than 50 cranes, and more than 150 unitsMixer trucks, more than 20 sets of mixing plants and more than 30 pump trucks towing pumps, etc. These powerful Chinese equipment are responsible for earthmoving and tunneling operations, concrete transportation and pumping, cast-in-place piles and hoisting construction. The strength of Made in China on the world stage is not only reflected in quantity, but also in quality. Many problems in the construction process of the Jakarta-Bandung high-speed railway were overcome by the equipment of Sany Heavy Industry.

For example, the rock formation of Tunnel 11 of the Jakarta-Bandung high-speed railway is as hard as 120 megapascals, which cannot be handled by conventional equipment. The construction party specially purchased Sany STR318H roadheader. With a weight of 115 tons, the machine is also very good at work: not only can it run for more than 20 hours a day, but it can also advance an average of more than 5.5 meters per day, even with high rock hardness. After the equipment was in place, the problem of tunnel construction was solved.

At present, Cui Zuo is involved in another important task - the construction of Sany Indonesia's "lighthouse factory".

It is understood that the "lighthouse factory" is 70 kilometers away from Jakarta, the capital of Indonesia, with a total area of 100,000 square meters, which is designed and built in accordance with the industry 4.0 standard and is the first overseas "lighthouse factory" of Sany, which fully integrates the successful experience of more than 40 domestic lighthouse factories in Sany, and runs through the concept of intelligent, flexible and green production of industry 4.0 in the manufacturing process. Among them, the first phase will have the capacity of producing 3,000 excavators per year after completion, and the second phase will gradually introduce the production of wide-body vehicles.

"As one of the largest economies in Southeast Asia, Indonesia is in a stage of rapid development in areas such as mining and transportation infrastructure. At the same time, Indonesia's industrial base is weak, and most of its machinery and equipment need to be imported. At this time, we will copy the most advanced smart factory in China to Indonesia, which is conducive to the further development of Chinese equipment to the world, and the localization operation will also bring a lot of technology, experience, tax revenue and jobs to Indonesia. From trade to investment, people are better integrated. Cui Zuo said that he was thinking about organizing Indonesian employees to visit China after the lighthouse factory was fully completed.

In front of the No. 18 smart factory of Sany Industrial Park in Changsha, Hunan, a huge plaque of "Sany will become a leading enterprise in the 'Belt and Road'" is eye-catching. In Cui Zuo's plan, this is a place where Indonesian employees must be invited to "check in". His hope is the same as that of many people: everyone will go hand in hand in the "Belt and Road" to make the win-win cake bigger and sweeter.
