On the afternoon of February 28, the Provincial People's Government and China COSCO Shipping Group Co., Ltd. signed a strategic cooperation framework agreement in Changsha to promote the integration of Hunan port and shipping resources and the integrated development of port, industry and city, and help Hunan enterprises accelerate their "going to sea". Shen Xiaoming, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, witnessed the signing, and Mao Weiming, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Governor of the Province, held talks with Wan Min, Chairman and Secretary of the Party Leadership Group of COSCO Shipping Group.

In recent years, the Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial Government have vigorously integrated and developed port and shipping resources, listed and operated the Provincial Port and Shipping Water Conservancy Group and the Provincial Chenglingji Port Group, and accelerated the formation of a modern port system with complementary advantages in the port area, efficient combined transportation of road, rail and water, and seamless connection with industrial development. Mao Weiming said that the cooperation between COSCO SHIPPING Group and Hunan has a long history and a good foundation, and the signing of this agreement will further deepen the cooperation between the two sides and accelerate the deep integration of Hunan into the national and global industrial chain, supply chain and logistics chain. According to the agreement, the two sides will deepen cooperation in shipping business cooperation, accelerate the construction of corridors, and accelerate the construction of regional supply chain systems, promote the construction of the new land-sea corridor in the western region and the new land-sea corridor in Hunan, Hunan and Guangdong, and better support Hunan's modern comprehensive three-dimensional transportation system and the high-quality economic and social development of the province.

At the ceremony, Sany Group and COSCO SHIPPING Group signed a cooperation agreement on deepening cooperation in container transportation and improving the whole supply chain solution, and the Management Committee of Chenglingji New Port Area and the Management Committee of Huaihua International Inland Port Economic Development Zone signed cooperation agreements with COSCO SHIPPING Container Lines Co., Ltd. on accelerating multimodal transportation and building a regional shipping and logistics hub with high quality.
