From the 11th to the 20th, Wang Yiou, Vice Governor and Director of the Provincial Public Security Department, led a delegation from Hunan Province to visit Malawi, Madagascar and Myanmar to deeply practice Xi Jinping Thought on Diplomacy, comprehensively consolidate the achievements of the China-Africa Economic and Trade Expo, enhance traditional friendship, expand economic and trade cooperation, and deepen police exchanges.

During the visit, Wang Yiou delivered the excavator donated by Sany Group to Malawi President Chakwera, and met with Malawi Police Inspector General Yoram, Madagascar Minister of Mines and Strategic Resources Rakutu Marala, Minister of Public Security Landrianarisson, and Myanmar Deputy Minister of Home Affairs Major General Duyi. Wang Yiou said that China will further promote the implementation of the cooperation consensus reached between the Chinese side and the three countries, deepen practical cooperation in various fields, and help the development of bilateral relations to a higher level.

During the visit, Wang Yiou said during his exchange and meeting with the police of the three countries that the police departments of the two sides will strengthen the construction of inter-regional police cooperation mechanisms and jointly crack down on transnational crimes within the framework of existing law enforcement and security cooperation between countries. The police of the three countries have said that they will strengthen the security protection of Chinese-funded enterprises and their personnel, including Hunan, and intensify the crackdown on illegal and criminal activities of Chinese citizens, so as to create a safe and stable business environment for investors.

During the visit, the delegation had discussions and exchanges with Chinese-funded enterprises and Chinese chambers of commerce in the three countries, inspected the fishery resources of Malawi, the cultivation and promotion of hybrid rice in Madagascar, and witnessed the signing ceremony of cooperation between Dongjiang Fish (Zixing) Industrial Group Co., Ltd. and Malawi Zhejiang Chamber of Commerce, China-Malaysia Resources Co., Ltd. and Hunan Provincial Remote Sensing Geological Survey and Monitoring Institute.
