On February 6, two consecutive 7.8-magnitude earthquakes struck Turkey, causing heavy casualties and property damage. In the face of the sudden disaster, Sany Group and local agents quickly carried out earthquake relief operations and successfully rescued many people.

At about 16 o'clock on February 7, 12 members of the rescue team organized by Sany Southeast Europe arrived in Adana and Ankara in Turkey to prepare for rescue, and were one of the first rescue teams to dock with the Chinese national rescue team.

At about 17 o'clock, the Turkish Rescue Trinity Emergency Rescue Headquarters hung the flag and established a 24-hour service working group.

At 17:30, under the emergency dispatch of Putzmeister and various main engine divisions of Sany Group, a Sany 60-ton off-road typecraneand two 23.5-ton and 1 6.5-ton excavators arrived at the disaster area first and were put into local rescue as soon as possible.

Under the unified command of the local government, the Trinity Rescue Team assisted in the search and rescue excavation and carpet investigation of collapsed houses in the Hatau area. After 16 hours of continuous search and rescue, the Trinity Rescue Team has successfully rescued 4 people, including 1 child, in the Hatay City community.

At the same time, Sany Group has also contacted the Turkish Chamber of Commerce of Private Enterprises and Governor Kadir Ekinci, who is in charge of disaster relief in the Islahiye region, and will provide roads and other conveniences for the Sany rescue team.

At 20 p.m. on February 7, Putzmeister completed the purchase of the first batch of relief materials, including search and rescue equipment, medicines and more than 200 sets of cold-proof clothing, and immediately transported them to the disaster area.

In China, Sany Group and Sany Foundation dispatched two structural collapse rescue experts from the capital airport to the disaster area, which is expected to arrive on February 9.

At present, the intense search and rescue work is still ongoing, and a large number of Sany follow-up rescuers, equipment and materials are speeding on the road to help the local area tide over the difficulties.
