Sany was invited to attend the China-Central Asia Summit series of activities

From May 18 to 19, the China-Central Asia Summit was held in Xi'an, Shaanxi Province, and President Xi Jinping presided over the summit to discuss cooperation plans with the leaders of the five Central Asian countries, look forward to the future direction of cooperation, and work together to build a closer China-Central Asia community with a shared future.

During the summit, at the invitation of President Tokayev of Kazakhstan, Zhou Fugui, director of Sany Group and chairman of Sany Renewable Energy, was invited to attend the "Kazakhstan-China Investment Roundtable" and signed a memorandum of understanding with the Ministry of Energy of Kazakhstan, the Sovereign Wealth Fund of Samluk Kazena, and the State Power Investment Corporation of China Power International.

Sany Renewable Energy and Kazakhstan have a good foundation for cooperation in wind power projects. In 2022, Sany Renewable Energy won the bid for two wind power projects in Kazakhstan, one of which uses its self-developed 6.25MW model. At the same time, Sany Renewable Energy's intelligent manufacturing factory in Tacheng is close to East Kazakhstan, with convenient transportation conditions, providing important support for industrial investment in Kazakhstan.

According to the memorandum, the signatory parties will discuss cooperation in the development and operation of local 1GW wind farms, the construction of battery energy storage systems, the construction of wind turbine manufacturing plants, and the establishment of special working groups.

Central Asia is the first place of the "Belt and Road", and Sany is the first Chinese construction machinery brand to enter the Central Asian market.
