Driven by the "dual carbon" policy, high-energy-consuming enterprises such as steel mills, coal power plants, and ports have applied new energy heavy trucks in batches to promote the continuous growth of new energy heavy trucks.
According to the latest statistics of tram resources (data source: Shanghai insurance data), from January to May 2023, a total of 8,767 new energy heavy trucks were sold, a year-on-year increase of 13.31%, of which 1,907 new energy heavy trucks were sold in May, a year-on-year increase of 3.03%, and the sales volume continued to grow, and the sales volume is expected to continue to increase.
Among them, in May, Sany sold 422 new energy heavy trucks, accounting for 22.13% in a single month, a year-on-year increase of 54.58%;
From January to May, Sany sold a total of 1,782 new energy heavy trucks, accounting for 20.33%, a year-on-year increase of 71.35%, winning the "double crown" in sales!
In addition to the continuous leading sales, Sany also occupies the high ground in electric heavy truck technology.
From June 6th to 7th, the Sany Magic Tower 1165 electric heavy truck with a total weight of 40.45 tons of vehicles + goods arrived at Shenzhen-Dongguan Logistics Park from Changsha at high speed, successfully creating a world record of "one charge and a range of 817.5 kilometers", and won the world record honor of the longest distance traveled by a semi-trailer electric truck on a single charge.
