Sany Heavy Industry was selected as a best practice case of listed companies

Recently, the China Association of Listed Companies announced the results of the 2024 Rural Revitalization Best Practice Case Collection of Listed Companies, and the rural revitalization project carried out by Sany Heavy Industry and Sany Foundation in Daotong Village, Lianyuan City, Hunan Province, was successfully selected into the 2024 Rural Revitalization Best Practice Cases List of Listed Companies.

The Daotong Village Rural Revitalization Project is a landmark project of Sany Heavy Industry in response to the national strategy and fulfilling its social responsibilities. Since the launch of the project in 2019, relying on the Sany Foundation, a professional team has been established to improve the quality of life of villagers in an all-round way through systematic and sustainable rural revitalization practices, and provide a demonstration sample for rural development.

Build a happy home based on people's livelihood

In view of the current situation of 21% aging population in Daotong Village, the Rural Revitalization Project has innovated to create a three-in-one elderly care system of "social work + care + smart medical care". It has built a medical care service center integrating health management, day care, culture and entertainment, and established 631 health records for the elderly, with an annual service volume of 12,500 person-times. In addition, it has cooperated with the Lianyuan Civil Affairs Bureau to complete the renovation of 17 extremely poor families, achieved full coverage of emergency response in the village through the "Ping'an Tong" smart device, and simultaneously compiled the "Operation and Management Manual of Home Care Service Center" and "Operation Manual for Villagers' Life Care" to form a standardized solution covering health monitoring, intelligent care, and difficulty assistance.

Ecological quality improvement reshapes livable spaces

The infrastructure upgrade project of the Rural Revitalization Project has completed the tap water pipe network covering the whole village, the water quality transformation of Longtang Lake, and 530 solar street lamps to light up the night sky of the village, realizing the full coverage of the main road lighting. The innovative establishment of the "Daotong Micro Fund" stimulated the vitality of villagers' autonomy, and the villagers spontaneously completed eight public space transformations, including cultural wall painting and the improvement of Longtang Lake trail facilities, forming a new pattern of rural governance of "co-construction, co-governance and sharing".

Cultural empowerment condenses the spiritual core

The Rural Revitalization Project has built a three-dimensional cultural revitalization matrix by building a Taoist school, a volunteer service system and cultural brand activities. 110 class hours of courses such as smartphone applications and nature education were offered, benefiting 1,057 people; The 97-member volunteer service team serves more than 3,000 hours per year; Large-scale activities such as the Farmers' Harvest Festival and the Intangible Cultural Heritage Exhibition attracted more than 1,100 participants. These measures not only enhance the learning atmosphere of the village, but also regulate the relationship between the neighbors, laying a solid foundation for the independent development of the village.

Industrial hematopoiesis activates endogenous power

In the field of industrial revitalization, the rural revitalization project has built a whole industrial chain of ecological agriculture. 158 acres of abandoned cultivated land have been rejuvenated after soil improvement, and special agricultural products such as five-color brown rice and light snow strawberries planted with zero chemical agents are favored by the market. It has effectively solved the livelihood problems of more than 40 poor families, created 64 jobs, and brought tangible income growth to local villagers.

Science and public welfare lead a new journey of responsibility

Sany Heavy Industry and Sany Foundation have always adhered to the concept of "scientific public welfare" to serve the rural revitalization project, with the villagers as the "first user", through data monitoring and professional operation, to ensure the effectiveness of public welfare, the project has been awarded the "National Demonstration Age-Friendly Community", "Hunan Rural Revitalization Key Charity Project", and "Golden Key - China Action for SDG".
