The African delegation to China inspected the Zhuzhou photovoltaic manufacturing base of Sany Silicon Energy

On May 15, the African diplomatic delegation to China, composed of 51 African countries and the African Union Representative Office in China, visited Sany Silicon Energy Zhuzhou Photovoltaic Manufacturing Base and conducted on-site inspections on Sany Group's technology research and development, intelligent manufacturing, product application and green and sustainable development practices in the photovoltaic industry.

In the enterprise exhibition hall, Dai Qinghua, director of Sany Group and chairman of Sany Silicon Energy, warmly received the African delegation in China. Dai Qinghua reviewed in detail the development of Sany Group from a township enterprise to a global equipment manufacturing leader, and focused on the strategic layout of Sany Silicon Energy in the whole photovoltaic industry chain. The members of the delegation listened attentively, expressed their appreciation for the global development achievements of Sany Group, and inquired in-depth about Sany's business development in the African market from time to time.

In the product exhibition area, Xia Yimin, executive deputy general manager of Sany Silicon Energy Equipment Co., Ltd., introduced three off-grid microgrid systems to the delegation. These solutions, which were developed for mines, remote construction sites, and rural, community, and school scenarios where the grid is not covered or where electricity is insufficient, aroused strong interest among the missions. The members actively interacted with each other to learn more about the working principle of the system, and had in-depth exchanges on details such as price system, energy storage capacity, daily power generation, applicable scenarios, and installation and maintenance.

Walking into the photovoltaic home appliance exhibition hall, the enthusiastic African music and camping, family and other scene displays contrasted with each other, instantly attracting everyone's attention. Three mobile optical storage devices designed for outdoor and home scenes were unveiled one by one, and the members of the delegation stopped to observe, frequently inquired, and immersed themselves in the green energy convenience brought by Sany silicon energy products.

Through a large digital intelligence screen, Deng Junbo, vice president of Sany Silicon Energy Microgrid Research Institute, introduced the operation of Zambia's Ruida Microgrid Power Station to the delegation. The project is the largest single microgrid project in Africa, equipped with a 20MWp photovoltaic system and an energy storage battery system with a total capacity of 60MWh, and equipped with a diesel power system as a backup power supply, to build a set of advanced microgrid integrated energy system integrating photovoltaic, energy storage and diesel power generation, so as to provide stable and reliable power for the mining area.

Chen Jia, President of Sany Silicon Energy and Photovoltaic Research Institute, led the delegation to go deep into the intelligent production line of Sany Silicon Energy and conduct a close inspectionPhotovoltaic productsThe whole manufacturing process from raw materials to finished products. The highly automated production process made the members of the delegation stop to take pictures, and they were amazed by the advanced manufacturing technology, lean production mode and whole-process quality control system of Sany Group.

"These products are highly aligned with Africa's energy needs." A number of envoys said that the visit not only deepened the understanding of Sany Group and Sany Silicon Energy, but also saw the broad space for cooperation between African energy development and the technological advantages of Chinese Hunan enterprises.
