After listening to the speeches of representatives of the business communities of the two countries, Li Qiang said that this year coincides with the 10th anniversary of the entry into force of the China-Australia Free Trade Agreement. Over the past decade, China-Australia economic and trade cooperation has shown strong resilience and vitality. Under the current international economic and trade situation, it is even more necessary to deepen China-Australia cooperation. The economic structures of the two countries are highly complementary, and the foundation of industrial and market docking is solid, making them natural partners. China and Australia should further tighten cooperation ties, persist in promoting trade and investment liberalization and facilitation, form a stronger development synergy, and effectively respond to environmental uncertainties. This is in the common interest of both countries.
Li Qiang pointed out that with the joint efforts of China and Australia, bilateral cooperation will not only achieve quantitative expansion, but also make a qualitative leap, which will bring new opportunities to enterprises of the two countries. First, China's large market will continue to release huge consumption potential, as long as China and Australia cooperate closely, the scale of trade will continue to expand, the structure will continue to be optimized, and more business opportunities can be created for enterprises of the two countries. Second, strengthening cooperation in research and development of cutting-edge technologies such as artificial intelligence and life sciences can better empower the industries of the two countries and enable enterprises of both sides to seize the tide in a new round of scientific and technological revolution and industrial transformation. Third, enterprises from the two countries can work together to accelerate cooperation in clean energy, electric vehicles, energy storage and other fields, so as to create a world-class green industrial chain that is both resilient and competitive, and give birth to huge development momentum.

Li Qiang stressed that only when the government and enterprises meet halfway can they better promote development. China will continue to promote high-level opening-up, treat domestic and foreign-funded enterprises equally, and protect the rights and interests of foreign enterprises and entrepreneurs in China in accordance with the law. It is hoped that Australia will treat Chinese enterprises in Australia fairly and properly solve the problems encountered by enterprises in market access and investment review. It is hoped that Chinese and Australian enterprises will adhere to openness, embrace cooperation, look forward to the layout, continue to deepen the cultivation, further promote the market docking and industrial integration of the two countries, and promote better complementary advantages and joint development between the two countries.
In his speech, Albanese said that China is Australia's largest trading partner, Australia and China have strong economic complementarity, and the results of cooperation have benefited the people of the two countries. The Australia-China Free Trade Agreement has played an important role in promoting the development of economic and trade relations between the two countries over the past decade. Australia is willing to strengthen dialogue with China, expand cooperation in the fields of economy and trade, agriculture, industry, energy resources, green development, etc., jointly address global challenges such as climate change, and maintain international fairness and free trade.
