Blockbuster appearance! Trinity Action in the Revitalization of the Global South

On November 13, the opening ceremony of the China-Africa Partnership Conference of the "Global South" Media Think Tank High-end Forum was held in Johannesburg, South Africa. Guo Ruiguang, Vice President of Sany Group and Chairman of the African Regional Business Unit, delivered a keynote speech entitled "Sany Action in the Revitalization of the Global South", systematically expounding the development process and green practices of Sany Group in Africa for more than 20 years.

Guo Ruiguang said that since entering the African market for the first time in 2002, Sany Group has always adhered to the corporate mission of "quality changes the world", and has deeply participated in infrastructure construction and green transformation in Africa with full-chain product layout, localized manufacturing and social responsibility practice.

FromConcrete machinery, mining equipment, to wind power, photovoltaic, hydrogen energy, energy storage and other new energy industry chains, Sany is helping Africa's green development with one-stop solutions. Guo Ruiguang pointed out that in the Ruida mine project in Zambia, Sany provided 20 megawatts of photovoltaics with a 60 megawatt-hour energy storage system, with an annual power generation of 28 million kWh, which not only meets the electricity consumption of nearly 10,000 households, but also saves about 2.8 million US dollars in energy costs and reduces carbon emissions by about 10,000 tons of carbon emissions for the mine every year.

Guo Ruiguang said that Sany not only continues to innovate in products, but also promotes a win-win situation between China and Africa through localized manufacturing. In 2025, Sany South Africa Industrial Park will be officially put into operation and become an important base for local manufacturing and technical training in Africa. Up to now, Sany has accumulated sales of more than $3 billion in Africa, with more than 23,000 equipment units and a service network covering more than 50 outlets.

In terms of fulfilling its social responsibilities, Sany actively carried out the "Light Up Africa" public welfare project and donated photovoltaic storage machines to support energy construction in Malawi and other countries. Participate in the "Empowering Women in Mining" program to promote gender equality; Set up an engineer training center to train local technical talents for Africa.

"From entering Africa in 2002, winning the bid for the Ethiopian wind power project in 2013, to donating optical storage equipment in 2024, and then to the commissioning of the South African Industrial Park in 2025, the friendship between Sany and Africa is deepening." Guo Ruiguang said that Sany is willing to continue to write a new chapter in Hunan Treaty Africa with hard work, empower Africa's economy to take off with green momentum, and make the tree of China-Africa friendship evergreen.

The "Global South" Media Think Tank High-end Forum The China-Africa Partnership Conference was jointly organized by Xinhua News Agency, the African Union (AU), the South African Independent Media Group and other institutions. During the two-day meeting, more than 160 mainstream media, think tanks, government departments and other institutions from China and 41 African countries, as well as more than 200 representatives from the African Union participated in the meeting, focusing on the theme of "Global Governance System Reform: New Roles and New Missions of China-Africa Cooperation".
