The Zhangjinggao Yangtze River Bridge is a river crossing project clearly promoted by the National Development and Reform Commission during the "14th Five-Year Plan" period, connecting Zhangjiagang in Suzhou and Rugao in Nantong, with a total length of about 29.8 kilometers. Among them, the river crossing section is 7,859 meters long, including two channel bridges, namely the South Channel Bridge with a main span of 2,300 meters and the North Channel Bridge with a main span of 1,208 meters, which will become the world's largest span bridge after completion.

The anchor foundation of the South Channel Bridge of Zhang Jinggao Yangtze River Bridge adopts the support and rotation structure composite ground wall foundation, which is the first in the world, which is the key control node with the most technical difficulty in the whole bridge. The connecting wall of the south anchor is divided into 94 phase I trough sections and 104 phase II trough sections. The first phase of the groove section adopts a steel box structure, and the second phase of the groove section adopts a steel cage structure. Precise calculations are carried out on transfer, loading, unloading, lifting lug placement and other links to ensure the lifting operation of the ground wall steel box. ”

In order to ensure the smooth hoisting of the steel box, the hoisting SCC15000TM-1 adopts the 60m ultra-wide arm working condition, with a 500t hook and a span of 16m. The SCC15000TM-1 has strong performance, equipped with wide arm technology, the load capacity exceeds the working condition of the two arms, and the disassembly and assembly efficiency is increased by more than 50%.

As a "bridge of science and technology and innovation", the Zhang Jinggao Yangtze River Bridge has made the "China Bridge" break through the 2,000-meter span mark for the first time, making continuous breakthroughs in new structures and new processes, filling a number of technical gaps at home and abroad, and greatly enhancing the global influence of Chinese bridge brands. The bridge is scheduled to be completed and opened to traffic in June 2028, and after completion, it will further shorten the time and space distance between Suzhou, Nantong and Taizhou, and promote the integrated development of the Yangtze River Delta region.
