Breakthrough of Zero | Sany was officially launched: China's first electrified highway test line

On March 28, the "Tianxing" electrified road transportation system press conference and the launching ceremony of the test line were held in Zhuzhou, officially launching China's first electrified highway test line.

The electrified highway system was jointly developed by Sany Group, CRRC Zhuzhou Institute and Tsinghua University.

As early as March 13, Sany Group has officially announced the completion of China's first electrified highway test line.

Today, the leaders of the three parties gathered together to hold a grand launching ceremony for the electrified highway system and Sany electrified highway heavy truck.

"The official launch of the electrified road transport system test line will fill the gap in the field of electrified highways in China, open up a new path for new energy heavy-haul road freight in the future, and provide innovative solutions to solve the contradiction between supply and demand of green electricity consumption."

Sany is responsible for the design, R&D and manufacturing of the whole vehicle and key systems of the project, Sany has independent intellectual property rights and new design and development, and is the first enterprise in China to successfully build heavy truck vehicles to realize electrified transportation in the highway system.

At the site of the test line, Wang Wei'an, member of the Standing Committee of the Zhuzhou Municipal Party Committee and executive vice mayor, and representatives of the three parties witnessed the historic moment of the launch of the test line.

The electrified road transport test line is a two-way two-lane road, with a road width of 7.7 meters, 53 assembly pillars with a total of 1.8 kilometers of catenary and 1 box-type substation, and the line covers a variety of road conditions such as straight lines, curves, ramps, uneven and convex roads, wading and immersion test areas.

The electrified highway electric heavy truck independently developed and built by Sany provides the possibility for the green and low-carbon realization of the demand for continuous heavy-duty transportation in medium and long distances.

Sany aims to contribute to the construction of a 100 billion automobile industry cluster in Zhuzhou and the "lane change and overtaking" of Hunan's automobile industry in the country through electrified highway technology; Provide solutions for China's multi-scenario application of renewable energy and flexible consumption of high-quality green electricity.
