On the afternoon of June 20, local time, Premier Li Qiang and German Chancellor Olaf Scholz attended the closing ceremony of the 11th Sino-German Economic and Technical Cooperation Forum in Berlin and delivered a speech. Before attending the Sino-German Economic and Technical Cooperation Forum, Li Qiang and Scholz attended the Sino-German Entrepreneur Roundtable. Xiang Wenbo, rotating chairman of Sany Group, and Zhou Fugui, chairman of Sany Renewable Energy Co., Ltd., attended the meeting as invited entrepreneurs.
Entrepreneurs from both sides said that China and Germany are important cooperative partners, and the business communities of the two countries support the policy of opening up, and advocate giving full play to the role of the Sino-German Economic Advisory Council and other mechanisms, strengthening exchanges and mutual learning, deepening high-level cooperation in innovation, digital economy, green development and other fields, so as to achieve mutual benefit and common development.
In recent years, Sany has vigorously deployed new energy industries, including wind energy, photovoltaics, hydrogen energy, energy storage, etc., with a strong development momentum and broad development prospects in Europe. Among them, in 2008, Sany entered the wind energy industry. On June 22, 2022, Sany Renewable Energy was successfully listed on the Science and Technology Innovation Board of the Shanghai Stock Exchange, with an annual operating income of more than 12 billion, and has become one of the top 10 wind turbine manufacturers in the world and one of the top five in China.
