On the fifth day of May, the dumplings are fragrant. In order to carry forward the excellent traditional culture of the Chinese nation and enrich the cultural life of employees, on June 22, Sany Energy Zhuzhou Industrial Park held a Dragon Boat Festival activity for employees around the theme of "Welcoming the Dragon Boat Festival and Making Zongzi". At the event site, three activities were prepared, including "Chef Teaches Me to Make Zongzi", "Ring Ring Game", and "Fun Pitching Pot".



The Dragon Boat Festival, one of the four traditional festivals in China, was officially approved by UNESCO in September 2009 to be included in the Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity, becoming the first festival in China to be included in the world's intangible cultural heritage. The origin of the Dragon Boat Festival covers the ancient astrological culture, humanistic philosophy and other aspects, contains profound and rich cultural connotations, and provides a rich historical and cultural fertile soil for cultivating and practicing the core values of socialism in the new era and new journey. After the Dragon Boat Festival, wrap zongzi and eat zongzi to commemorate the great patriotic poet Qu Yuan in various ways.



Eating zongzi is one of the main customs of the Dragon Boat Festival, the main material of zongzi is glutinous rice and filling, wrapped in hoop leaves, with various shapes, sharp horns, four corners, etc. In terms of taste, the north is sweet and salty in the south, and the characteristics of the northern zongzi are sweet and soft glutinous, with dates and red beans as the main fillings; Southern zongzi are mainly salty, with fillings such as egg yolk, ham, and pork belly.



At the beginning, the "Chef Teaches Me to Make Zongzi" activity received an enthusiastic response from the staff, and the chef taught skills and patiently guided them on the spot. In this teaching atmosphere, employees gradually mastered the trick of making zongzi.



Rings and pitchers are leisure activities that integrate fun and competitiveness, and the staff of the administrative team of Zhuzhou Industrial Park have prepared rich game prizes. The scene of the event was wonderful and intense, and the employees who came to participate in the event showed their skills, and cheers continued to erupt around.



A series of activities made employees feel the warmth and strong festive atmosphere of the Trinity family, deepened their understanding of traditional culture, and let everyone spend a beautiful and peaceful Dragon Boat Festival together.
